Welcome to the SERCAL Board Election Page

SERCAL board and officer terms begin January 1 of each year. The current board vets and nominates a slate of candidates for open positions, and in Dec/Jan, we ask our members to vote for the confirmation of these candidates. All candidates commit to serving a 3-year term.

ALL MEMBERS VOTE TO ELECT OFFICERS — Lindsay Teunis, serving a second 3-year term as President — AS WELL AS AT-LARGE REPRESENTATIVES (no openings for this election).

THERE ARE THREE SERCAL REGIONS and if there are candidates, you will be asked to vote for regional candidates in the region you predominantly work/live in. For 2026, there are two renewing representatives in the South Coast & Eastern Desert Lands (Rob Hobbs and Sonya Vargas).

Region 1 | North Coast and High Deserts is comprised of Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, and Trinity counties

Region 2 | Central Coast and Valley is comprised of Alpine, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Kern, Kings, Lake, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Yolo, Sacramento, San Benito, San Joaquin, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Sierra, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tulare, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties

Region 3 | South Coast and Eastern Desert Lands is comprised of Imperial, Inyo, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties
