Are you as excited as we are to be returning to the University of Redlands?

SAVE THE DATES! May 17 Fieldtrips and May 18–19 Conference. We’ve got Dorms! And lots of great plans. Color us EXCITED!!

Got something you’ve been working on that you'd love to share with the SERCAL community? A restoration project, new research, lessons from the field, or an idea you’d like to get people talking about?

Yes? Then it's time to start putting "pen to paper" so you can present it at Restoration's Finest Annual Gathering next May in Redlands. The Call for Abstracts for Technical Presentations is now open through mid-November! The Call for Poster Abstracts is open Jan–Feb.

Our goal is to cover each of the themes listed above, whether during sessions, keynotes, or panel discussions. Some themes are quite specific, while others are broad enough to include a variety of presentations.

We are projecting closing abstract submissions by mid-November — when we are about to reach the limit of abstracts we can feature, we will send out a message via this website, our Restoration for All newsletter, and our new LinkedIn account California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL) (have you made the switch?). It will take about a month to sort the abstracts into sessions and then we are planning to be in touch by the end of the year. We'd greatly appreciate your assistance with our timeline! Also — if you have an idea for a session you would like to coordinate, contact Julie@sercal.org by Nov 6!

We hope you're looking forward to SERCAL 2027 as much as we are!
